Sophie is already very familiar with addition and subtraction, so now she is learning division. Making it into a game like this- she has picked it up in 2 days and is getting every problem right.
Princess Divide has 8 berries. King equal needs the princess to give 2 families the berries equally. How many berries will each family receive?
Then on her white board she writes out the actual division problem so she see its not just in word problem form.
Today we are working on Princess Multiple. This princess has 10 berries. She needs to give 2 families each 10 berries. How many berries does that mean King Equal needs to give princess Multiple so both families are equal.
